Sussex ambulance bosses say the care provided by a man jailed yesterday is not reflective of their staff.45 year old Karl Harris from Portslade was sent to prison for perverting the course of justice. Harris lied to police about the care he'd given to a 30 stone man who'd collapsed and died in Brighton. During his trial, the court heard he'd told a collegue to say the man was dead when they arrived. The South East Coast Ambulance Service have offered their condolences to the family of Barry Baker. They're now resuming an internal investigation. |
