Uni Waits On Strike Decision

A strike could take place at the University of Sussex over proposed job cuts.A result's due today from a ballot over the uni's plans for 115 redundancies and course cuts. The University and Colleges Union's fighting this though. They've come up with a cost-saving solution that would save most jobs. The UCU say striking might be necessary, but could affect learning. |
