Star sign?

Aries - I'm told I'm a perfect example with all the right qualities.....

Favourite song?

It has to be Philadelphia Freedom by Elton John with Sir Elton at his best with big sparkly glasses and amazing over the top stage outfits. An awesome song which I never tire of hearing or playing on the radio

Favourite food?

I always love to cook when time allows and my favorites include savory mince, chicken breasts wrapped in bacon and camembert cheese with garlic and maple syrup plus Mediterranean tomatoes or any roast.

Favourite drink?

My mate got a cider press last Christmas, and we're attempting to make our own right now thanks to friends and neighbours donating apples and pears off their trees. But until it's ready for consumption, it's got to be a bottle of Magners please if you're offering!

Hobbies?

Skiing, mountain biking and getting lost while walking my dog

Biggest star ever met?

Tina Turner has to up there with the big names I’ve been fortunate to meet although I will never forget a trip to Buckingham Palace to be part of a dinner in the company of HRH Prince Edward and his lovely wife Sophie. You should see the marble and gold loo’s – posh or what!

Favourite football team?

Man U - and I have been to Old Trafford on many occasions before you ask!

Song to sing at Karaoke?

The worst song ever given me to sing was a 1960s song called Wild Thing by a band called The Troggs. Quite possibly the hardest and most complicated song to sing and I absolutely destroyed it. I’ve always tried to avoid Karaoke ever since, but please remember not to choose “Wild Thing” if I ever change my mind.

Favourite Film/TV programme?

Leon – because it’s an amazing film and has everything while for TV it’s always sport, sport and more sport plus the usual X Factor, Strictly, Dr Who, Torchwood etc.

Most worn item of clothing and why?

Don't want to put you off your next meal, but it's shorts - and whatever the weather. Relax though, as I only get my legs out when I'm at home or walking my Labrador retreiver called Paddy

Who would play you in the film of your life?

My lad Charlie Copsey – because he’s little Coppo

If you didn't work in radio what would you do?

I’ve always wanted to be a pilot, and no it’s not a uniform thing!

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

The Swiss Alps for many reasons. The mountains to climb and ski down, fantastic lakes and rivers to fish and swim in, friendly people, scrummy cheese fondues not forgetting loads of chocolate and Heidi. I’m planning on buying myself a mountain hut as soon as the lottery numbers come up and possibly changing my name to Swiss Chris!

Who would you most like to have a drink with, and why?

My Dad. To tell him how much I love and miss him.

If you could only take three possessions to a desert island, what would they be?

 Radio, TV and my i-phone

If you could swap places with someone for the day, who would it be and why?

Wayne Rooney so I can either score a goal for Man United at Old Trafford or for England at Wembley. It’s a boy thing, OK!

What's your proudest achievement so far?

Apart from playing in the World Marbles Final once,  I guess it would have to be heading into my 26th year of broadcasting to Sussex.

What would you call your autobiography?

 “Coppo” of course.
